Boeing is trying to hire retired employees as temporary workers in preparation for the return of the 737 Max to commercial service.

Kevin Brickner, senior vice president of technical operations for American Airlines, said in a letter obtained by a retired American Airlines employee that Boeing had contacted the airline for help in contacting the Washington-based airline.Qualified retired technician at the Moses Lake facility. .
